Note the differences in temperature in the LIVING ZONE (the room area from the floor to the normal eye level). Properly distributed heated air in this zone is vital to maintain body comfort.  The properly designed Radiator Enclosure allows more satisfactory air temperature conditions and results a gain in fuel economy.    The above diagrams are from tests conducted by the University of Illinois Engineering experiment Station.
