Measuring for Piping Side Cuts

If you want feed or return pipes exposed we will need to know what side and how high to make the cut. Standard cut on valve side is (9" High x 4" Wide). Fill in the ' E ' dimension on your worksheet. For the pipe side standard cut is (6" High x 4" Wide) . Fill in the ' e ' dimension on your worksheet.

*All cuts for piping will be centered between the legs unless otherwise specified.

If the ' W ' dimension used is wider than the actual W of the radiator. Usually because the radiator is away from the wall for some distance and you want the cabinet to hide the entire space. To have the pipe cut centered in the cabinet. Measure from the back of the rear leg to the center of pipe.

Piping side cuts address the required 3 inch minimum of side clearance needed. This could provide space needed for the cabinet to fit

Important: Always measure from the top of the radiator when determining (Length or L) when you are going to have openings for piping on both sides. The reason is so you do not miss adding for the bleeder or vent valves.
